The 13TH Sign of the Zodiac: 2012′s Missing Link

I am reprinting this info for about the 13th sign of the zodiac because as we move through the shift that our planet, Earth is now going through we will see how this zodiac sign fits into the opening up of our consciousness into the higher dimensions.

There is actually a 13Th zodiac sign called Ophiuchus (of-ee-yoo-kuh-s). It is believed that Nostradmus used the constellation of Ophiuchus when making his astrological predictions. Keep in mind that Nostradmus was not only a seer and an astrologer; he was also a physician making the use of this 13Th sign, very pertinent for him since this sign is greatly related to healing. Ophiuchus is one of the 88 known constellations and was also one of the 48 listed by Ptolemy. It is a large constellation located northwest of the center of the Milky Way. Ophiuchus is symbolized by the Snake Charmer or Serpent Wrestler. The Sun only spends 19 days in this sign of short duration. It falls between Scorpio and Sagittarius, the natural 8th and 9th house of the zodiac, respectively. Early cultures based their yearly calendar on the 13 lunar cycles, each containing 28 days. But Julius Caesar changed it. He created our present Julian Calendar, consisting of 12 months, therefore removing the 13th month and its corresponding astrological sign.

Ophiuchus is depicted as a man handling a serpent, his body dividing the large snake into two parts, giving way to the symbol used today as an Asclepius – the medical staff. The sign of Ophiuchus is fashioned after the original serpent holder, Enki, a Sumerian god associated with water, crafts, intelligence, and creation. Some astrologers believe the planetoid Chiron, which is connected with healing in Greek mythology, is the ruler of this sign of a short duration. The constellation of Ophiuchus is the only sign of the Zodiac which is linked to a real man. This man, named Imhotep (patterned after Enki), lived in ancient Egypt around the 27th Century BCE. Imhotep is credited with many accomplishments, including the knowledge and use of medicine.

So what does this 13th sign have to do with 2012? The year 2012 is associated with bringing us to the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. We are now moving beyond the kind of body for which the human being was originally designed, out of the human experience and into a different level of consciousness where we will experience a tremendous transformation as souls. The new vibrations from the cosmos will activate additional DNA that we are programmed with and will give you access to the secrets and mysteries of who you are and what your purpose is along with access to the fourth dimension above the Earth’s three-dimensional existence. Our DNA has been associated with the symbol of the snake, dragon, or serpent. Ouroboros is an ancient alchemy symbol depicting a snake or dragon (DNA) swallowing its own tail, constantly creating itself and forming a circle. In some representations, the serpent is shown as half light and half dark, similar to the symbols used for Yin and Yang, which shows the dual nature of all things such as positive and negative, male and female.

The 12 around 1 pattern (12 = 1 + 2 =3), or third dimension, is physical reality based on linear time so the soul can experience the feelings of emotions. We mark time in cycles. We find 12 around 1 on a clock, calendar, zodiac wheel, alchemy wheel, wheel of time, and karma. Could the sign of Ophiuchus, which falls strategically between the zodiac’s natural 8th house of sex, death, and regeneration, and the natural 9th house of the higher mind and spirituality, be the linking sign for the knowledge we need to upgrade our DNA to advance into the next level of consciousness? The soul lessons might be for us to realize that through death there is rebirth.

The symbolism of 13 is rooted in several cultures and religions. Number 13 has a Christian association with the Last Supper; twelve disciples and Christ formed a group of 13 to share the last meal. In ancient Greece, Zeus was counted as the 13th and most powerful god. The symbolism of 13 especially comes into play in the story of Osiris, the Egyptian god of life, death, and powerful cosmic energy who was murdered by his brother, Typhon, who sliced him into fourteen pieces. Isis, Osiris’s wife along with the help of Osiris’s sister, could only find 13 of the fourteen body parts (the fourteenth part being Osiris’s penis), which fell into the Nile and was eaten by a school of fish.

The story of Osiris symbolically implies that the meaning of number 13 is the precursor to completion. There are 13 moons in a calendar year. The Moon is associated with the Spiral of Life – birth, death, and rebirth – as she moves through the phases from dark to full. In the Tarot, the number 13 is represented by the Death card, which also means transition and change. Could our overlooked 13th sign of the zodiac become more significant beyond 2012? Will we be more advanced on a soul level to understand the vibrations from this constellation that revels in healing? Maybe this is the next phase of cosmic energy to be made available to us in the higher and more psychic dimension where we can clean out our karma closets and begin to heal ourselves and strive to be in harmony with the divine creative force of the universe.

The Ancient Roots of Astrology

Almost every major newspaper and magazine runs an astrology column therefore confirming that the public truly has an interest in reading about their astrological sign.  Even the skeptics can't help but take an occasional peek at their horoscopes every now and then. I often wonder why the astrology columns are lumped in with the comic section of the newspaper or pushed to the back of the magazine as if we are still practicing literary segregation when in essence we should be recognizing the importance and value of this art which allows for science to intersect spirituality.

Astrology is an ancient discipline given to us thousands of years ago by cosmic visitors to our planet.  It is recorded in the Book of Enoch that Baraqel, one of the original so called fallen angels or “Watchers “ taught humanity astrology and  the magick of the cosmos.  The Watchers were angels or more correctly, emissaries, dispatched to Earth simply to watch over the humans, especially since we were a genetically manipulated or created race of people.  These Watchers were not supposed to give away any trade secrets from the heavens but they fell from grace when they did so along with taking "the daughters of man" as their mates and producing children that were basically hybrids of alien and human flesh.  The reproduced like rabbits and the population of Earth grew resulting in an overpopulation of advanced beings that threatened the original “quality control” of the original experimental race created for planet Earth.  Hence fourth the men at the top “master-minded “the great flood of Noah, also recorded as a massive flood in the writings of other civilizations, wiping out the inhabitants of Earths except for a few chosen specimens like Noah and his family along with select seeds (plant and animal) so there could be a controlled recovery after the mass water wipe out.

Even after the tidal biblical flood astrology still survived. The test of time proves that astrology isn’t a frivolous form of fortune telling but rather a sophisticated discipline that allows us to understand how the vibrational frequencies from the stars and planets have a direct effect on our own personal vibration. After all, fundamentally we are basically energy beings and thus respond and react accordingly to the energy around us. The Babylonians, Greeks, Romans and Medieval Kings knew the value of astrological insight and only the very elect were privy to the knowledge held within the heavens.

The Babylonians left us one of the earliest overtly astrological documents, the Enuma Anu Enlil. This document may date as far back as 1600 B.C., and it enumerates astronomical omens and their interpretation. Astrology is hardly a pseudo-science especially now that we are on the doorstep to the Age of Aquarius, the long awaited for Golden Age.  You see, astrology is more than just a daily blurb about your sun sign that you find in the back of a newspaper or sent to your email in-box.  It is a complicated method of foretelling your own personal “weather” or vibrational energy conditions for the day, week, month or year.  It allows for you to decide how you would like to tune into the vibrations that are made available to you by transiting planets, fixed stars, eclipses and the phases of the Moon. Your free will lets you decide how your fate will play out depending on how you work with your astrological energy.  Predictions are often called "forecasts" or "trends" and are based on upcoming planetary influences on the birth chart. These influences are usually interpreted on a psychological level but as we evolve with the times it will become clear that the landscape of the heavens influences our personal energy, the personality of our spirit or etheric body.

As we move through the year 2012 we will start to tune into the vibrations from the constellation, Aquarius and the frequency from Pisces will begin to fade out.  The particular rhythmic pulsation of waves from the constellation of Aquarius will bring a different vibration of energy and more light into our DNA. The strands of our DNA are not limited to three dimensions; they are holographic and will act the same way a modern radio frequency antenna acts in order to receive electromagnetic radio transmissions. This new transmission will reawaken our deepest cellular memory and wake us up to remember who we really are in the Universe. We are all spirits from one ultimate source.

We will be up-grading to the stellar frequency package comprised of  Alpha Aquarii (Sadalmelik) - a giant star with a diameter perhaps 100 times that of the Sun. Beta Aquarii (Sadalsund) - The brightest star of the constellation, shining at magnitude 2.9 and Gamma Aquarii (Sadachbia) - A spectroscopic binary that shines at magnitude 3.8. These figures lead to an actual luminosity of about 25 suns. The light from theses strong stars in the constellation of Aquarius will have an impact on the activation of our additional strands of DNA and possibly allow scientist to identify the “spirit code” or “God gene” in our genetic make-up.

The above stars are fixed stars used by our ancient astrologers who knew the true value of astrology and how empowering this knowledge of the stars can be for mankind. The Arabic names for theses stars translate into "The luck of the king", "The luck of lucks", and "The lucky star of hidden things". The veil is lifting so we can embrace the importance of astrology and see how it influences and directs our physical, mental and spiritual qualities allowing us to tune into our highest potential. As we shift into the ideals of the Age of Aquarius it is not hard to imagine that astrology may someday be taught in schools and reclaim the dignity that it once had in the world as a beneficial practice for the soul’s journey.

February is the month to get a HEART-on

Since February is national heart awareness month and also the month that hosts Valentine's Day, I thought it most appropriate to blog about the Heart Chakra, the seat of our soul. The Heart Chakra is-you guessed it-located in the approximate center of your chest.  This is the energy vortex spot that works along with your physical heart in processing emotions related to love and on a flip side the negative, debilitating emotion of hate.

The heart is where we record all of our emotional memory. Emotions are our way of showing on an outward level through our words and actions the way we are feeling on an energy level. Emotions are visceral, which means that we feel them instinctively and thus manifest them as physical reactions like gut feelings, tears, or laughing. The emotional experience leaves an energy imprint into our cellular memory which directly influences the vibration of your heart and also your whole body. I guess you could say that emotions are like the fingerprints of the soul.

The heart is closely connected to the emotions that we experience through our relationships and even our relationship to our environment has a direct impact on our health and well-being. Certain diseases have been linked to negative emotions that result in causing the body’s cells to mutate and change accordingly. It makes you stop and think how negative relationships, jobs, people and such are just as bad for your heart and health as eating a Philly Cheese Steak with the works and smoking a pack of cigarettes.  Any relationship that stresses you out and emotionally drains you is lethal when it comes to heart health. It is so important to recognize which relationships are beneficial for you not only in a physical sense but more importantly in an energetic way.

The emotions that we process through our heart go viral in a sense in that they stay recorded into our energy or astral body for eternity and also echo into the vast dimensions of the Cosmos as part of the complete cosmic consciousness of the Universe. According to a study of patients who have received transplanted organs, particularly hearts, it is not uncommon for memories, behaviors, preferences and habits associated with the donor to be transferred to the recipient. In a paper published in the Journal of Near-Death Studies, Dr. Paul Pearsall of the University of Hawaii and Dr. Gary Schwartz and Dr. Linda Russek of the University of Arizona discussed 10 cases of heart or heart-lung transplants in which the recipients were reported to have “changes in food, music, art, sexual, recreational, and career preferences, as well as specific instances of perceptions of names and sensory experiences related to the donors.”  When the heart is transplanted, the energy or cellular memory housed in the cells of the tissues also carries the higher frequencies of light. We are multidimensional beings made up of a physical/cellular system which has a constant, dynamic dialogue with our energetic fields, the layers of the aura. Therefore, if a heart is transplanted, the memory at the cellular level and at the spiritual level will be moved with the donated organ into the recipient. Kind of like when Frankenstein got the wrong brain, the brain of a criminal.

Here is an example of documented information about a transplant case where a34-year-old donor who was a police officer was killed while trying to arrest a drug dealer. The recipient was a 56-year-old college professor diagnosed with atherosclerosis and ischemic heart disease. The donor’s wife reported that her husband was shot in the face by a man with long hair and a beard. The last thing he saw was a terrible flash form the gun going off. The recipient reported that he began to have dreams a few weeks after receiving his donated heart. He would see a flash of light right in front of his face that felt hot and would burn immediately before seeing a man who looked like Jesus but I guess Charles Manson would serve to be a better comparative description. You can see that the heart transplant brought some of the donor’s memories.

Evidence also shows that the rejection process seen in heart transplants not only reflects the rejection of the organ comprising the cells, but also the cellular information and energy stored within the cells. Emotional imprints from traumatic experiences, loss and other things that really bum you out can be stored in the heart and also affect other body parts as well.  A recipient’s consciousness may not be in tune with the emotional codes stored in the transplanted organ therefore showing how transplant success may well go beyond tissue and blood type compatibility. Similar to downloading a corrupt file into your computer only to have the whole damn thing crash.

We always seem to associate the color red with the heart when the colors that vibe to this eternal, emotional recording center are green and pink. Green is the master color. It is refreshing and cool. It connects us to unconditional love and reduces stress. Pink is relaxing, heals grief and sadness. restores youthfulness, and brings you in contact with your feelings. You can even use gems and crystals to work with keeping this chakra balanced. Stones such as Rose Quartz, Pink Tourmaline, Emerald, Green Tourmaline, Rhodonite, and other natural green gems have a vibrational compatibility to the Heart Chakra.

When the Heart Chakra is out of balance emotions such as guilt, rejection, and not being able to love yourself occur. You may also feel hatred, self-pity and paranoia and your emotions will rule your every move. You will come off to others as being distrusting, cold, aloof, and selfish. In extreme cases a blocked Heart Chakra can lead to diseases such as heart problems, asthma, lung and breast cancer, especially if you are too nurturing yet not open to being nurtured yourself. Pneumonia, and upper back and shoulder issues also are signs that you need to have your Heart Chakra adjusted and spin balanced by an experienced holistic practitioner who is attuned to preform Reiki. Common addictions associated with an unbalanced Heart Chakra include nicotine and marijuana (Hmm, I always thought weed was about peace and love.)

When your Heart Chakra is over balanced. You may find yourself being too trusting and desperate for people to love you, therefore you engage in activities that might not be beneficial for you but would make others happy. You may attract relationships where you give all and your partner does not appreciate what you do and doesn’t give anything in return. You can’t say “no” to people. Smothering behavior, being codependent/enabling, too nice, too giving, and a real “Pollyanna” could be setting you up for some cardiac care by externalizing as arrhythmias or heart problems.

A person with a good balanced Heart Chakra will display as being loving, warm, affectionate, accepting, tolerant and equally loving of themself and others. To keep this nice vibe going one of the most important things to do is to drop your fears and eliminate stress. Stress and coronary heart disease are related, because if stress is left unmanaged, it can lead to emotional and psychological problems that eventually show themselves as created (manifested by you), physical problems such as high blood pressure, chest pains or even irregular heartbeats. If you are walking around all stressed out you will be tuning into all of the negative fear based emotions that go along with being upset.  You will keep attracting bullshit into your life unless you unplug from the damaging emotional codes that keep you attached to unwelcomed people and situations.

This February why don’t you make a resolution to take care of your soul’s memory bank, the heart, and tune into the higher vibrations of real, unconditional, no agenda love by not closing off your heart. Here’s to HEART-ons <3

Predictions for 2012: General and for each zodiac sign

Well here we are-2012 has finally arrived and this will be the year where more and more people will begin to experience the shift of our planet and the new energy coming into the world.  This year is the beginning of our transformation into living in a world that recognizes that there are dimensions that exist beyond the 3-D world.  Many of you will feel as though you suddenly have “energy sensors” attached to your skin because an additional sense of psychic knowing or perceiving is now very apparent to you.

For starters we will see vast changes in the educational system and more schools will begin to use cyber classrooms because they recognize that the students are more inclined to learn better by using the latest computer technology.  The way that we socialize is not limited to interaction within our own environment since accessing those at a distance is now only a Nano second away.

This will also be a year for major health breakthroughs and the importance of “energy medicine” is recognized as holding the healing code for most ailments. How we process our beliefs about our own health is what programs us for the success rate of healing ourselves.

There will be a big movement toward spiritualism as opposed to organized religions.  The Catholic Church will experience further decline and the Vatican’s participation in funding certain political agendas will dwindle down as the Church’s financial situation becomes more strained.

Big banks that were bailed out will once again experience major setbacks as consumers become tired of the money games, bank fees and “stick-it-up your ass” tactics of major financial institutions.  Smaller banks and credit unions flourish and will become more popular with the public.

This is also the year where we begin to let go of FEAR.  What the hell are we afraid of anyway? Fear comes from a sense of losing control and uncertainty. The year 2012 brings with it a vibrant energy that helps us realize that what we once feared can now be transmuted through the use of positive thought energy to become part of our spiritual learning curve and show us that within every dark moment there is still a glimpse of light that will open up once you learn to move toward it.  Even the moth knows to move toward the flame.

The duality of the Universe exists around us and within us.  The Yin and Yang; sperm and egg; positive and negative forces of nature constantly come together and create an ever changing environment for you to consciously experience.  The development of the consciousness will be further studied this year, 2012, and we will gain a new perspective and appreciation for diversity because it shows the endless possibilities that come from creation.

There are a few things that may happen in 2012 that may seem more “downer” than “upper” but these circumstances give us the opportunity to come together and help one another through tough times.  We will realize that help doesn’t just exist in the physical sense because the healing vibrations from collective positive thinking can bring about almost instantaneous healing results.  Remember the membrane that once separated the limited 3-D earthly, material consciousness is now thinning out to make the realms of their higher dimensions of consciousness more accessible to us.

Here is a list of some 2012 headlines and I will add more as I access the Akashic Records, which is a compendium of mystical knowledge encoded in a non-physical plane of existence.

·         I feel that there will be an accident around an amusement that will draw a lot of attention.  I see a Ferris wheel or ride that sits up in the air.
·         An ancient site, most likely in the Middle East, will partially be destroyed due to an earthquake, explosion or major mud slide.
·         I recommend that major water dams be checked because I feel that there is an accident that could possibly be averted before severe damage is done. Look for safety breeches. The planet Neptune is back home in its sign of Pisces alerting us to be more mindful of anything to do with water.  The waters of the world may at times this year be a cause for concern ranging from oil spills, damaging storms and  tsunamis
·         There will be a movement to stop the over use of anti-depressant drugs and the long term damaging effects of these drugs will become apparent to consumers.
·         A Nordic country usually known for peace and calm may make headlines due to riots and or violence.
·         India, Indonesia and China experience the forces of Mother Nature this year as crazy storms batter those areas.
·         New hope for couples who have trouble conceiving due to break through research in how emotional vibrations influence the success rate of pregnancies.
·         As people become more savvy as to what is going on in the world around them due to advances in technology we may also find that laws are put in place that will compromise some of our basic freedoms in an attempt for those in power to try and stay in control.  2012 lets freedom ring so “bye, bye” power mongers on both personal and global levels.
·         Life and an existence of our consciousness after physical death is a strong topic this year and there will be many discussions, talk shows, books and movies that embrace this subject.

Now for my predictions for each sign of the zodiac for 2012:
·         Aries: The planet, Uranus, is more so than ever igniting your adventurous nature. This year you reinvent yourself and possibly consider starting your own business or changing careers.  The urge to pioneer a new cause or new you is very strong.
·         Taurus: This year may be relatively calm in comparison to the upheaval of last year.  You experienced what it is like to be pushed out of your comfort zone possibly as a preparation for a move, relationship change or even for a new way of thinking.  Things flow along and November of 2012 offers you the opportunity to once again embrace some changes but with a more evolved attitude.
·         Gemini: The roller coaster ride you have been on over the past two to three years is about to end. May and June will be significant months for you and there will be a final settlement of both relationship and financial issues.  Who you thought you wanted may not be the one for you after all.  Think before accepting any long term offers.
·         Cancer: Living in the past is not supported by the new energy coming in so let bygones be bygones.  You can’t change people; you can only change yourself so don’t fight any losing battles. Know when to move on.  July is a pivotal month for you where you decide who and what are most important to you.  Reaching out to an old love mends the fence.
·         Leo: Your career is highlighted this year and May is the month of new opportunities.  Relinquish the need to always be in control and be open to the help from others.  An Aquarian or Aries plays an important role in your life this year and helps you move forward.
·         Virgo: The year starts off with Mars rolling through your sign giving you the energy to take action.  Just be careful not to let action turn into aggravation especially from late January to April when Mars goes retrograde.  Relationships both personal and professional may take center stage until July because that is when things calm down a little for you.  Money making opportunities come your way in February so stay alert and maybe even buy yourself a lottery ticket. Mixed feeling may arise concerning travel this spring.  Don’t go if you don’t want to go.
·         Libra: Saturn is almost out of your sign where it has been for almost three years putting you to the test and trying your patients.  Your almost about to receive the rewards for all of your prior hard work so just hang in a little longer because by September you will have reached your long awaited for goals. Libra’s are usually relationship people but this is the year where you diligently work on the relationship with yourself and achieve a nice balance in your life.
·         Scorpio: Get ready because the next eclipse cycle on the Scorpio/Taurus axis is about to begin in November of this year.  Changes in relationships are almost certain and signing legal documents may bring you a windfall.  Your uncanny intuitive abilities are sharper than ever giving you a jump on the “what next.”
·         Sagittarius: There are plenty of fish in the sea so be mindful before making a commitment to only one person, who may be attached to a lot of past drama.  This year you strive to make the most out of your career and realize that the one person that you can always count on is YOU.  March through July makes you the center of attention and offers come in from all angles.  Look before you leap.
·         Capricorn: Hard work does pay off and you will finally realize the results of all your past efforts.  You may become more philosophical this year and possible even consider becoming active in community affairs or politics.  The wise Cappie knows when to relinquish control and put the Ego aside especially when negotiating important contracts or deals.  Let go of relationships that hold you back and stay focused on your path.
·         Aquarius: You are coming into your own this year and the world is your oyster.  Just remember that the irritation from the sand is what causes the pearl inside the oyster to form so minor frustrations are a necessary evil in order to reach your goals.  A relationship that is right for you or possibly a career boosting opportunity is right around the corner in mid-February.  Big changers ahead for you by September.
·         Pisces: The dark horse finishes first and you may even surprise yourself with the success of your endeavors.  Don’t let emotions give you any false illusions.  Stay in the present moment at all times for assured success. This year be good to yourself and let others finally take care of themselves.  Dreams come true for you and this summer will be much better than last summer when you may have felt caught between the dimensions of time and space.

Here is to the long awaited year of 2012.  This year is not an ending year but rather a year filled with the opportunities to change, transform, evolve and become as light in frequency as our technology.  We are catching up on what it is like to live in a world that is defined by frequency and light as opposed to all the weight and mass of the heavy material shit.   To find out more about how  you can easily transcend the limited mind set consciousness of the 3-D world order a copy of my newest book, The Book of Transformation, which is due out May of 2012.
